Responsibilities: About the Team The Account Management organization is focused on maximizing customer satisfaction, retention and growth through the customer lifecycle by building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving value re-enforcement and adoption of services, and aligning and differentiating account services and support based on specific customer needs. About the Job The Technical Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring overall revenue retention and growth within Akamais strategic accounts. This role is responsible for overall customer satisfaction and accountable for successful solution deployment for Akamais strategic customers. The Technical Account Manager is an integral part of the sales cycle, collaborating with the Major Account Executive to expand the breadth and depth of Akamai services adoption. This role also provides oversight during deployments to mitigate project risk, manage project economics and increase the value realized by Akamais strategic customers. Responsibilities * Serve as single point of contact for the customer managing executive level client relationships and provide team oversight while your practice members are delivering projects. * Team effectively with other parts of the organization including Support and Product Management to address and resolve customer issues. * Participate in operational issues related to specific engagements, including billings, expenses, staffing, utilization management, etc. * Perform Technical Pre-sales activities on assigned accounts

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications * Education: Bachelors Degree in * Overall Experience: 5-7 years or equivalent experience * 5 year(s) of experience with delivering consulting services, including involvement in selling services or equivalent experience * 5 year(s) of experience with enterprise level project management experience (SOWs, contract management, risk management, staffing) or equivalent experience * 5 year(s) of experience with Experience developing and enhancing client relationships or equivalent experience Desired Qualifications * MBA or Advanced Degree strongly preferred. .Detailed knowledge of Internet technologies, such as HTTP, DNS, SSL, etc. .Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive level presence and experience in facilitation. .A proven track record demonstrating good business judgment, an ability to make decisions, and a passion for excellence .2-5 years Internet technology experience and/or experience with products and processes related to Digital Media, Streaming, Broadcasting or Publishing.
