Description: Responsibilities for the Tax Director include:
- Preparing quarterly and year-end tax accounting under FAS 109
- Managing advisors in preparation of US Federal, State and Local income tax returns
- Taking responsibility for estimated tax calculations for all jurisdictions
- Preparing various miscellaneous returns (sales & use returns, NYC CRT, etc.)
- Representing the company on tax audits
- Seeking out advantageous filing positions

Required Skills:
- 10-20 years Taxation experience
- Experience with tax accounting for mergers, acquisitions and other capital transactions
-  
- Knowledge of US taxation of foreign operations, including Foreign Tax Credit
- Familiarity with the requirements of FIN 48
- Ability to research, interpret and communicate tax law
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Thorough knowledge of Tax compliance software and databases such as Oracle’s Essbase
