RESPONSIBILITIES * Partner with all levels of management to construct and implement cost-effective sourcing strategies that identify and deliver top talent to the asset management organization; actively staff for all position levels * Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management * Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios. * Fosters teamwork and maintains a sense of community within and across departments. Cultivates a network of relationships inside and outside the organization. Ensures that clients are "Net Promoters" of the TA services. * Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings * Applies broad knowledge and seasoned experience when addressing complex issues. * Embodies and creates a compellingly clear vision for the client business. Provides enterprise-wide perspective, can see long term goals and balance against short and intermediate term needs. * Anticipates business problems and translate into opportunities for Talent Acquisition. !*! EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * 5+ years of progressive recruitment experience in an asset management/investment management environment * Exceptional research skills and ability to process gathered information, convert it into intelligence for use towards a progressive recruitment strategy * In-depth understanding of asset management job functions including; business and product development; real estate, equity, and fixed income investments; quantitative strategies as well as mid and back office operational roles. * Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. This position requires concise and proactive communications with candidates and hiring managers. * Candidates should have demonstrated ability to execute recruiting strategy, including; employer promotion in the marketplace, direct sourcing, creative advertisements, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management. * Candidates must be able to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer * Understands organization%%27s value proposition and communicate company culture. * Can easy articulate fundamentals of the asset management business. * Ability to grasp industry and company challenges and can translate into why they are important to our business. Has working knowledge of key company and industry metrics * Possess a demonstrated passion for the recruiting function; will be customer focused; possess a strong team orientation; display initiative and self-motivation; be proactive; be a change agent; have a sales approach to recruiting; be detail oriented; possess unquestionable trust; be dedicated to superior performance; and have a total commitment to the success of the employees, customers and organization * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university desired
