Description: Supply Chain/Operations Manager

Major responsibilities include: * Full P&L responsibility for manufacturing division (formulation and maintenance of capital strategy and budget) * Manage all aspects of relationships with both domestic and foreign ODMs/ contract electronics manufacturers * Manage all supply-chain and logistics operations * Manage inventory, component sourcing and quality programs * Manage production schedules * Manage all order fulfillment and RMA * Development and implementation of long-term objectives * Expense management, shortage prevention, staffing and scheduling, and merchandise flow * Clearly communicate company objectives so management, manufacturers, transportation and vendors are well informed Minimum Qualifications: Ideal candidates would be highly experienced and mature techno-commercial leaders with strong entrepreneurial flair. * BA/BS or higher/equivalent from accredited university. Masters degree preferred. * 7-10 years direct experience in a senior level in electronics manufacturing with exposure to assembly operations, or the equivalent education and experience. * Intimate working knowledge of contract electronics manufacturers/ODMs, with the ability to successfully engage in qualification, management, and continuous improvement activities * Prior direct P&L responsibility * Demonstrated success with component sourcing and overseas (China a plus) contract electronics manufacturing * Experience with implementation and management of quality systems, including procedure development, implementation, training, and auditing * Detailed understanding of supply chain/logistics management * Experience with inventory management, including planning, purchasing, and cost reduction * Familiarity with MRP/ERP software * Excellent communications skills Domestic and International travel required For more information, and consideration, please send your resume in confidence to: kofi.ofori@roberthalf.com.
