Duties: The Strategic Planning Analyst will assist with inventory management, revenue reporting, budget/LRP process and sales coordination for our Turner Sports properties (NBA, MLB, NASCAR and Golf).Responsible for helping to maintain the accuracy of the inventory pool by working closely with Sales and Sales Operations to meet internal and external client needs, but at the same time weighing the impact on the revenue of these requests and changes. Work proactively to avoid oversells where possible and possess the ability to find creative solutions when inventory is oversold Review inventory fluctuation reports and programming grids and help make sure all revenue stays on the books/last minute inventory is utilized. Work closely with Sales Operations on all manner of issues, including inventory reconciliation, pending units, new orders, billboards, and copy issues. Ensure unsold units are filled with the right advertisers, utilizing Lighthouse. Monitor advertiser delivery for both under and over-delivery. Coordinate re-expressions when programming changes occur (MLB/NBA Playoffs). Maintain internal applications and databases. Pull reports on an as needed basis. Work on ad hoc projects.
