Duties: The Strategic Planning Analyst for CNN International Ad Sales will focus primarily (but not exclusively) on the fast growing digital businesses, particularly helping in the areas of inventory management/pricing and revenue recognition. The position will assist the Manager and Vice President in improving management reporting and better understanding the digital product and revenue opportunities. Specifically, the Manager will take a lead role in: 1) providing regular avails reports for key units/sections/geotargets, as well as help with specialized avails requests; 2) ensuring all contracted/billed revenue is properly and completely recognized (in conjunction with Sales, Sales Ops and Finance); 3) Analyzing and performing various ad hoc projects related to digital ad sales and providing insights to Sales management; 4) Serving as a Sales liaison to the Digital Invoicing and Finance groups and helping with training and disseminating information on best practices across regions; and 5) Providing, where necessary, support to the manager/Vice President on various linear reporting projects and helping consolidate linear/digital management reporting.
