Description: Staff Accountant For Popular Cable TV Network

One of cable televisions most popular and well known networks has an immediate need for a qualified staff accountant. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial tracking and reporting in the areas of programming, royalties, and contracts. Duties will include: • Prepare the monthly Cash Reconciliation for Programming Payments of to the General Ledger. Prepare and Distribute Programming Cash Forecast and Programming Commitment Reports. Ensure Reports and reconciliations are timely and accurate. • Reconcile data for Cash Payments to make sure it agrees with General Ledger. Prepare regular and ad-hoc analysis of Programming Commitments and Payments. • Provide information to upper management regarding programming costs and budgets.
