Position Description:

POSITION LOCATION: FLEXIBLE TERRITORY: NORTHEAST(Virginia-Maine: Concentration on PA, NY, CT). The Medical Sales Manager is a sales leader and technical resource focused on wireless services, particularly data applications, within a defined business vertical and geographic territory. Individual will manage several direct reports. Sr. Sales Manager is responsible for direct line hiring, coaching, development, and assignment of a team of Sales Executives and Account Support Representatives within his/her territory. The territory will consist of mid to large size accounts within the medical vertical .Overall management of sales team to include, but not limited to, staffing/retention, team development, performance and compensation management. Utilize advanced selling techniques and account management/solutions selling to coach team of account managers to succeed in data and wireless voice penetration. Create business plans to maximize most cost effective channels of fulfillment for business sales. Coach and develop sales employees in data selling and solution selling techniques. Effectively manage all administrative processes associated with management of people at at&t including timely communication of information, administration of compensation plans, performance management, funnel management, etc. Ensure market profitability through attainment of quotas. Ensure that Account Managers are properly assigned and utilized to meet wireless quota objectives. Effectively manage and assign accounts and quotas to team of account managers.Build and maintain strong relationships with partners in Enterprise and Mobile Multimedia Services organizations as well as other support functions. Represent at&t management by joining customer meetings with the Sales Executives, as needed. Bachelors degree in related discipline or equivalent experience. 5 + years of direct wireless/telecommunications Business/Enterprise Sales and Sales Management experience within the Medical Industry Vertical. Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead sales team. Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, persuasion, reasoning, and strategic planning skills are required. Demonstrated understanding and application of sophisticated selling techniques. Effective time management skills are necessary to ensure a high level of quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Thorough knowledge of computer and related business applications, including MS Office, is required. Valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle as required by transportation needs of market. AT&T is an equal opportunity employer.
