Purpose This position is responsible for the Financial activities related to CSAB Inventory Obsolescence and Product Costing. These activities include risk analysis, reporting, budgeting/forecasting and period close requirements. This position must collaborate with the Supply Chain Planning/ Manufacturing/ Marketing Departments to identify potential risks and ensure the policies and programs are in place to mitigate CSAB Obsolescence exposure. This position will also provide backup and support for CSAB Product Costing Accountabilities * Produce monthly Obsolescence Risk assessment and consolidate in Access Data base. This requires use of Sap and Excel and collaboration with other Supply Chain Departments to assess risk and ensure overall exposure in this area is identified and steps taken to mitigate expense in this area. * Preparation of all month end accounting activities related to Product Obsolescence. * Produce AOP and required Forecast versions related to Obsolescence and ensure input into SAP and Hyperion business systems. * Monthly reviews with Marketing/ Supply Chain/ Manufacturing and Supply Chain Perform formal account reconciliations , audit support and ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance for all Obsolescence Activity * Provide backup and support for CSAB Product Costing and special project support for the Supply Chain Asset Management Team Finance * THIS POSITION CAN BE LOCATED IN RYEBROOK, NY OR PLANO, TEXAS Key Relationships: * Supply Chain Planning and Manufacturing Teams * SBS- Master data Teams * Commercial Finance * Brand Marketing Values in Action: Accountable Delivers agenda.
