Description: As global project lead, responsible for management of day-to-day project flow, from start to finish. Partners with design and pre-production in execution and assessment of product line to meet business needs while ensuring execution of design vision and consumer insight needs. Product Management, with input from global merchants, provides clear direction to design on how to maximize identified market-specific opportunities. Directs and controls the activities of the product management function. * Develops strategies and implements new features, tools and processes. * Ensures cross-functional team is set up every week to fully understand development timelines, metrics, strategy, milestones and deliverables. * Responsible for coordinating and overseeing seasonal time and action calendars globally. * Seasonal Direction: Scheduling, agenda, packet preparation, coordination of downloads to Global partners. * Design Review: assist design in structuring a collection assuring all assortment and market needs are met, analysis of final recommendation and adherence to metrics. * Hindsight & Assortment Plan Pass-off: scheduling, agenda. * Line Adoption: communication to merchant to confirm line direction: adherence to design intent, strategy and product integrity; analysis of final recommendation and adherence to metrics; submission and resolution of legal approval, archive landed assortments. * Work with Global partners (merchant and design teams) to integrate NA product within International assortments to protect Global brand aesthetic while delivering region-specific product needs (Franchise, Europe, Japan) * Share Global fast and best seller styles to cross-functional partners in order to leverage market specific successes. * Analyze sales trend and identify new business initiatives, potential growth categories, and future opportunities. * Ensures synergy across divisions * Expedite process between merchandising, design and pre-production to deliver "Chase" product to stores, and share style * Ensures the training and development of other product managers * 7 to 10 years experience in Web or software product management. * BA/BS required. MBA desirable.
