This is a full-time Senior Consultant position for an enthusiastic individual with a technical background and experience in Service Provider space (Telco, Cable, Hosting Provider), IT service modeling, service monitoring and service level reporting. Responsibilities: * Contribute and lead portions of one or more Services Management Performance , Network and Systems Management projects through assessment, design and/or implementation phases * Act as the team subject matter expert in a variety of Performance, Network and System Management, Portal and reporting framework technologies, their design & implementation in a Service Provider environment and enable team members and clients to better understand tool capabilities. Tools involved will be Netcool (Omnibus, Impact, Precision, Proviso, RAD), HP - Open view, CA Unicenter, Spectrum, Concord, HP - SQM, Trendium, Spirent etc. Integration with Vendor EMS (Element Mgmt Systems), Fault / Trouble management systems and large enterprise wide performance data warehouse systems. * Strategize, design, build and deploy with team members, large Performance, Network Monitoring and Service quality management systems with integrations with various Element Management systems (EMS), Ticketing Platforms, Inventory and Asset Management systems * Lead technology architecture, design and development tracks within Services Management and Service Assurance projects * Lead development and maintenance of one of Service Assurance solution offerings in area of Test & Diagnostics, Performance Management Requirements: * 5-6 years professional experience in network operations and/or support industries preferably in Service Provider (Cable, Telco, Hosting Provider) * 5-6 years professional hands-on experience with strategy, design, development and deployment of Performance Management, Network and System Monitoring, Test & diagnostic tools and Service Quality Management tools - certifications are a plus . Tools involved include Netcool (Omnibus, Impact, Precision, Proviso, RAD), HP - Open view suite, TeMIP, HP - SQM, Trendium, Spirent * Ability and proven experience in areas of Network and Service Performance monitoring, analysis/reporting and management; Integration with Fault, Trouble and Configuration/Inventory Management functions and tools. * Experience with industry leading standards and framework models such as eTOM, ITIL. Ability and proven skills to apply these models, related process definitions into practical process & tool implementations * Previous consulting experience required, preferably a Big 4 firm. * Must be willing to travel up to 80%% of time per week (Monday through Thursday/Friday). * Preferred locations include NY, NJ, MA, CT, VA, MD, DC.
