We are currently looking for aSr. Consultant-Networkto join our Network department in theNew York,NY Metro area.

JOB SUMMARY This position will be responsible for post-sales implementation of all elements of Cisco IP telephony solutions that includes CallManager clusters, unified messaging with Unity Voicemail, Cisco PSTN voice gateways, Personal Assistant, Conference Connection, Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory configuration, Cisco IPCC Express, IPCC Enterprise/ICM. Travel is estimated to be up to 25%%.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Installation of related equipment * Pre-sales support including assistance to sales engineers, customer meetings, and quality review of design documentation * Document creation utilizing standardized templates for as built documentation * Self development of skills

EDUCATION: * Post secondary Associate or other Degree preferred * High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE: * Preferable candidates will have led CallManager deployments with at least 100 handsets and will have strong IPCC Enterprise experience. * IPCC Enterprise/Express experience is a plus. * Experience in implementing, and configuring Win2K operating systems and Exchange 2000 * Experience with traditional PBXs (Avaya, Siemens, Nortel, etc.) a plus * Experience with traditional ACDs and call center architectures a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: * Cisco CCIE desired. A specialization in IP Telephony is preferred with certifications such as Voice Professional (CCVP), Support Specialist (CIPTSS), Design Specialist (CIPTSD), Express Specialist (CIPTES) or Operations Specialist (CIPTOS). * Microsoft MCSE 2000 with Exchange a plus.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS * In-depth knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony LAN and WAN configuration. * Strong understanding of Internet concepts such as DNS resolution and internet security. * Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Routing Protocols. * Strong Layer 2 and 3 Routing and Switching experience. * Proven troubleshooting skills. * Requires excellent communication skills both written and verbal. * Proactive approach to organization and problem solving. * Customer Response Application scripting is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, IF APPLICABLE: * May be required to climb step ladders and lift equipment up to 50 pounds. Requires the ability to use hand tools associated with installing of related equipment.
