The Services Industry Practice within BearingPoint is seeking a Senior Manager with relationship management and delivery experience to support our Hospitality and Gaming line of business. Our Hospitality and Gaming line of business is focused on the Hotel, Resort, Timeshare, Casino and Cruise line industries. Restaurant, golf, spa and related functions are relevant only in the context of the Hotel, Resort, Timeshare, Casino and Cruise line Industry. Location: Mid-Atlantic, Northeast Relocation: No Performance Profile: The successful candidate must be able to: . Lead the development of new and add on sales for some of the worlds largest global Hospitality and Gaming clients; . Lead proposal and oral presentation efforts for large and complex projects including the ability to develop clear, concise proposals within the context of an existing methodology, provide original relevant content, blend the content of all team members so that the finished proposal delivers a clear, relevant "story" easily followed by the client and meets client cost and BearingPoint profit expectations; . Be responsible for the management and direction of multiple, large, complex projects or function as a highly skilled individual contributor in the Services Industry consulting practice in order to consistently achieve practice revenue and profit objectives; . Be able to assume an organization-wide leadership role for a specific technology or process; . Manage overall relationships with clients and be able comfortably communicate with all levels of client personnel form client staff to C level executives to provide technical expertise, project direction and thought leadership; and . Assist in practice management and performance management responsibilities including the overall management of project teams and development and review of staff. Position-specific Requirements: The ideal candidate: . Will have 10+ years work experience in a combination of both consulting and the travel and transportation l industry supporting Hospitality processes and systems. This experience should include both functional and technical subject matter expertise including and understanding of architecture, development and implementation. . At least 5 years experience with ERP systems. Oracle and/or Oracle Financials implementation and support experience is preferred. Additionally, exposure to supporting projects around Reservation Systems, Property Management Systems, Loyalty programs and hotel/resort operations is helpful. . Must have 7+ years experience managing client engagements and leading large project teams to consistently achieve practice revenue and profit objectives. Day to day responsibilities include: project planning, project management, budget management, resource allocation and vendor management. . Must have understanding of overall hospitality business functions including: operations, management and systems. . Must demonstrate an understanding of process improvement methodologies and current hospitality industry issues. . Must demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively within the Services Industry practice and with other segments of BearingPoint to bring the appropriate thought leadership, solutions and resources to bear on our clients. . Must demonstrate the ability to lead and participate in the development of new and add on business in the consulting and Hospitality industry. . Will have an established network of referral contacts. . Recent experience with a major global consulting organization is strongly preferred. . Candidates currently residing in the northeast or mid-Atlantic will be given strong preference. . Must have the ability to maintain a Mon-Thurs travel schedule. . Must have current US work authorization. Education and Experience Advanced degree preferred but not required
