Description: Job Title Solution Specialist Snr Director Location NEW YORK MADISON AVE Organization Name North America Client Advisor Program Department Description The North American Customer Relations organization helps to build an on-going relationship between Oracle and our strategic customers. They implement a collaborative process to ensure mutual success with the customer. They establish a long-term communications process and facilitate the optimizing of the clients investment in Oracle products and services. Brief Description Detailed Description Manages and directs a staff of solution specialists and/or managers in providing specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territory. Establishes and communicates departmental objectives and implements plans to ensure attainment of business objectives. Works closely with sales management to ensure proper utilization of resources and provides justification for additional resource requests. Oversees the Interaction with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Develops forecasts. Participates in industry/product functions, seminars and round tables to remain up to date on industry or product knowledge. May deliver presentations/solutions to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Job Requirements Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Requires ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Additional Details Reporting to the Group Vice President and head of the Spartan Program, the Spartan role will be the centerpiece of the newly established Spartan Program. The Spartan Program will oversee the collaborative process of working with key customers to realize the full value of their investments in Oracles products and services. Closely aligned within the executive suite of our client, Spartans will act as Trusted Advisors, helping each client to map its strategic initiatives with Oracles product road map. Spartans will embed themselves into the clients strategic process and will work hand-in-hand with the client, client facing up to 100%%, to ensure success in utilizing the broad spectrum of Oracles products and services. Each Spartan will be responsible for two to four key accounts. Key Responsibilities: * The Spartan acts as the trusted advisor to the most prestigious named accounts in order to further client relationships and drive additional opportunities. A Spartan earns a seat at the customers strategic planning table. * Work with clients at the C-level, understanding their issues and business requirements, and laying out a roadmap of how to leverage Oracles products and services. * Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new service offering opportunities for growth. * Drive programs, mobilize the organization and provide direction on new opportunities in order to maintain and grow a reference base of business.
