Description Service Program: Platform for Growth — Global Program Office - Director
TheService Program: Platform for Growth (P4G)Global Program Office supports the three Citigroup GTS Business organizations of Cash Trade and Securities globally. Globally, more-than 1000 projects can be active at any given time. These projects are distributed across 5 regions. Projects cover a wide range of areas including * Implementation of E-2-E Testing infrastructure and methodology * Remediation of Application Infrastructure * Creation of a Global Command Center * Creation of a globally consistent Problem Management process * Implementation and rollout of a Service Quality Metrics program Leading Global Program Development efforts including * Managing program development team * Managing program office functions thru program office/program management lead - direct * Helping build/reorganize global program team as needed * Overseeing development and execution of program communication plans * Providing guidance to develop templates, best practices for the workstreams * Helping resolve cross-workstream dependencies and issues * Overall resource planning and staffing * Providing inputs for financial planning and monitoring * Providing guidance in creating financial pro-formas and business cases A Global Program Office for theService Quality Program:Global Program Development Office will have overall responsibility for managing Global Programs within this Portfolio. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to * Strategic planning for Service Quality Program over a three to five year horizon * Managing capture and distribution of all Program Metrics thru a regular Report Card process * Managing generation of and management of ongoing communications decks for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting * Coordination of all workstreams deliverables and dependencies * Overseeing all projects within the Global Program * Reviewing all deliverables for all projects within the Global Program to . confirm conformance to standards . consistency across regions * Reviewing all Status Reports and dashboards for projects within the Global Program for accuracy and consistency * Guide workstreams structure their work plans and milestones * Reviewing all Project Plans and Action Item Logs for projects within the Global Program to verify accurate tracking * Reviewing all Risks for accuracy and consistency * Managing escalated issues from projects within the Global Program * Developing standards for projects within the Global Program * Working with the regions to obtain necessary resources for projects in that region * Generating a consolidated report of the overall status of the Global Program * Participating in project review meetings for projects within the Global Program * Coaching the project managers working on projects in the Global Program * Manage program knowledge repositoryPossible Position Locations:NYC, or Jersey City, NJ
Specifications / Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following attributes * A proven track record with over 10 years of program development experience * Experience with Global Projects * Experience with Data Center Projects * Experience with Application Development projects * Experience with Operations projects * PMP Certification * Experience working within Citigroup * Experience managing a global, multi-region initiative * An understanding of current Program Management Office standards * An understanding of PlanView * Flexibility required due to the time zone constraints of a Global Program. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
