Responsibilities: About the Team You will be joining an exciting start-up business unit within Akamai focused on a new behavioral targeting product line for the online advertising space. This team works with the largest Publishers, Advertisers, and Ad Networks to improve the scale, reach, and effectiveness of their online ad targeting. About the Job The Technical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall success of the implementation of Akamai services. This is a consulting role focused on leading proof of concept and beta product implementation engagements. Your team will consist of analysts and solutions architects. Engagement phases include: pre-sales support, solution design, technical implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing relationship management. This role will also work closely with both Product Management and Engineering to elaborate new product requirements and define the product roadmap. Responsibilities * Technical requirements gathering, solution design, proposal generation, and statement of work creation for consulting services * Technical project management, leading technical integration teams, and customer relationship management * Close collaboration with Engineering, Product Management, and Sales.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications * Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering * Overall Experience: 7-10 years or equivalent experience * Experience implementing technical solutions * Demonstrated success on customer facing consulting engagements * Strong project management and communication skills * Ability to understand and communicate business and technical requirements Desired Qualifications * Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, TCP, rich media, Flex, Flash, or AJAX * Experience leading consulting engagements with enterprise clients * Technical presales support experience, especially in a software or online advertising product environment * Understanding of online advertising management systems such as DoubleClick, Atlas, or 24/7 OAS Contact us!
