Description: Job Title Senior Sales Consultant Location NEW YORK Organization Name North America Customer Relations Department Description The Customer Relations Sales Consultant (CRSC) is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This position focuses on developing a plan, or course of action that will increase customer satisfaction in a variety of situations and at various levels of complexity. Brief Description Detailed Description As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships. Job Requirements Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in at least one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as required. Preferred Qualifications: BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable. Additional Details As a CRSC, you will be responsible for participation in CVCs/Executive Meetings; promoting, leveraging and collaborating on Relationship Plans; cultivating "Promoters" or referenceable customers; and working to ensure that our customers have a high level of satisfaction in their overall relationship with Oracle. This may involve working with customers who may be extremely dissatisfied, and are in need of relationship improvement, or satisfied customers who want to expand their relationship with Oracle, or customers who are new to Oracle and need assistance and guidance in understanding how to navigate the network of Oracle resources and assets that compliment services provided by Oracles Lines of Business. You will also be responsible for assisting in the successful completion of customer go-live events (visibility, planning, execution and gaining references). You will need to engage other Oracle resources, programs and assets to achieve a customers desired satisfaction level, throughout the customers entire lifecycle. In addition, you also need to be able to identify where technical problems exist and engage/consult with the appropriate technical expertise within Oracle to resolve the problem, and successfully facilitate good relationships between the organization and the customer. Project and Facilitation Management, conflict resolution and quality communication skills are also necessary. The ideal candidate is an experienced business person, who can proactively engage with Oracles Lines of Business (LOBs) to maintain and/or establish referenceable customers by developing and leading a focused plan to increase customer satisfaction and perception of the products and services provided by the company; should have functional knowledge of multiple Oracle products and platforms, be able to participate in discussions regarding technical issues with both customers and Oracle personnel; maintain awareness of all historical customer responses to satisfaction surveys, and play an active role in building upon the executive relationships between the customer and Oracle.
