Description: I have been asked to identify Independent Consultant Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst - Securities Master candidates with experience with related products such as Security Master and/or integration adaptors to 3rd party hedge fund products such as Advent Geneva (which would be a plus) including providing frameworks, technical analysis and specifications requiring solid understanding of relational database technologies and concepts and SQL, object-oriented design and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Hands-on knowledge of modeling tools, UML, process flows, use cases and investigation of current state (existing systems and/or processes); deep knowledge of instruments and markets related to the modeling tasks required for a six month+ independent contract in the Midtown, New York City, New York. (Ideally regionally local NY / NJ / CT area candidates preferred, no interviewing, travel or relocation expenses are provided for this opportunity. The selected Independent Consultant Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst - Securities Master candidate will contribute to a major new buy-side project initiative. This will include responsibility for leading a team of Business Analysts, developers, DBA's and QA/support staff members in all aspects of this highly-visible project including consultations and discussions with end users and workflow evaluation/data attribute identification/technical documentation utilizing a strong technical understanding of data and data relationships (domain modeling, logical and physical data modeling, data schemas, and communication protocols between data sets) to make appropriate recommendations and decisions, as well as providing frameworks and technical analysis and specifications.

Qualified candidates will have near perfect English writing and English speaking skills not requiring repeating during rapid English conversation.



This long term project in Midtown New York City, New York offers an initial six months renewable independent contract with a competitive starting rate range.
