Description: SENIOR PROJECT ARCHITECT - NEW YORK, NY
Responsibilities include involvement in all phases of project development including but not limited to design, documentation and construction administration. Specific tasks may include supervising other team members, code review, design, detailing, construction drawings preparation, specifications preparation, reviewing the work of others for technical accuracy, submission to local plan review and permitting departments, presenting to and communicating with clients, and coordination and communication with consultants and contractors. Candidate will be expected to mentor and assist in further professional and technical development of junior staff. Candidate should have 7 to 10 years of architectural experience. Candidate must be a self starter capable of multitasking responsibilities and duties over several projects simultaneously, supervising other team members, and scheduling work of self and others to meet project schedule, budget and fees. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications, strong technical background and strong communication skills are required. Candidate should either be actively seeking professional licensure or already licensed.
