Description: Description: The individual will play a key role in the implementation of Celebrex lifecycle plan and optimization of new brand shaping data, working collaboratively with regional colleagues and cross-functional team. This position will transition in 2008 to a stronger focus on pain pipeline product entering phase 3. Specific responsibilities will be: Execute assigned projects and activities in the areas of lifecycle, publications and regulatory. Lead competitive intelligence gathering, analysis and reporting Participate in CV Working Group meetings ensuring representation of commercial recommendations. Partner with functions in WWCD, including Early Commercial, GMA, Global Medical, PDA, OR and P&R as well as counterparts in PGRD and the Regions to optimize the commercial value of development candidates in the Pain portfolio. Contribute to global asset and market development as assigned by the Team Leader Optimize the impact of brand shaping new data Adhere to Pfizer Standard Operating Principles while executing business strategy; Manage budget and legal/regulatory requirements Qualifications: Prior global marketing and/or in-line marketing experience with strong history of achievement and performance. Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities and ability to work in a dynamic and complex therapeutic area Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team based environment. Strong influence/negotiating skills and relationship management Enthusiasm, confidence and strong presentation and written communication skills. Ability to bring strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable level; results-oriented. -Strong project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize. Prior experience in lifecycle planning is desirable Pharmaceutical marketing experience is required. Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred. 5-7 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing experience required. Must be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally in support of business objectives.
