Description: Senior Manager, Search Engine Marketing AutoReqId 108787BR Responsibilities American Express Interactive (AXPi) is responsible for leading interactive strategy, marketing, and capabilities across American Express for the interactive channel. Over the past several years the team has delivered new business growth and continues to drive transformational change across the company. In this role you will be responsible for managing internal and external search marketing optimization efforts. You will lead and execute marketing strategies by evaluating existing search data, drawing insights, and delivering marketing enhancements to increase click-through conversions. This role will involve educating internal business partners on SEO and working with them on their optimization efforts. In addition, you will lead the execution of technical solutions working closely with 3rd party vendors and internal technology partners. You will also be responsible for managing and communicating search metrics to leadership teams across the company. A talent for analyzing data, interpreting customer behavior, and developing marketing strategies is critical for this role. - 1-2 years experience in search marketing required - Ability to diagnose and communicate complex SEO issues ranging from technical issues to keyword and content issues to link building - Familiarity of major search properties and search algorithms - Fundamental understanding of HTML - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Experience writing and editing professional or technical documentation - Strong project management and organizational skills - Direct expertise in natural search optimization, link building, copy writing, and web design/development - Familiarity with cross media reporting (Doubleclick DART, Google Analytics, Omniture, Hitwise) - Strong software skills including (primarily Microsoft Office) - Bachelors degree in relevant field - Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently exceed objectives Work Location State/Province New York Work Location Country United States Classification Full-Time - Regular
