they are a fund administrator that develops technology and applications that are deployed to and used by hedge funds and fund of funds. Their systems support a wide range of financial instruments in the areas of front office trade processing, risk analytics, middle office operations, automated reconciliation, NAV accounting, and investor services. Their team has many years of experience designing, developing, maintaining and operating the types of sophisticated applications hedge funds demand. The team utilizes Agile team-oriented processes with short development iterations and frequent production releases. Responsibilities * Implement collection of instrument terms and conditions from standard market data providers. * Facilitate reconciliations of existing client data to published market data. * Work on security master process for OTC instruments. * Implement process to manage storage of market data used in theoretical pricing of OTC instruments. Requirements: 10+ years development experience. * Recent experience working with Python in a production environment. * Relational database experience and strong SQL skills. * Experience working with common market data interfaces such as Bloomberg and Reuters. * Prior experience working in financial services including some exposure to and understanding of terms and condition for financial instruments. * A college degree in Computer Science or related subject. * Experience working with Sungards Front Arena or other portfolio management system (Calypso, Murex etc.) would be an advantage.
