* New York, NY Responsibilities Our client, a Fortune 500 company is searching for a senior business analyst for their global IT department.

* Responsible for defining, documenting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and information systems. * Assist junior business analysts within the group. * Evaluate business requirements for applications and systems integrations and service activations, while helping with new or modified enhancements. * Solicit client requirements through interviews, workshops, and existing systems documentation or procedures. Qualifications

* 7 Years experience as a business analyst * Previous experience at a publishing/media companyIS A MUST * Bachelor’s degree required- Masters Degree is a plus! * Strong e-business experience and a background in a B2B information provider field. * Excellent understanding of technology including web enabled n-tier architectures based on Linux and UNIX, Java and Oracle. * Offshore development experience is a plus. * Methodology documentation experience relating to Business Analysis, including RUP.
