We are currently seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Financial Risk Management group in our New York office. KPMGs Financial Risk Management (FRM) Services professionals help management and boards of directors to identify, measure, and monitor financial and business risks, the relationships between risks and returns, and the control environment over the management and reporting of these risks. In the very complex world of financial instruments, FRM professionals have assisted in valuation approaches; stress testing, model development and risk rating, and measurement approaches to help management leverage the leading practices in risk identification and measurement.

Responsibilities for both positions: . Assist clients with the development of business requirements for Treasury Management Systems . Assist clients with the development of Request For Proposal (RFP) for Treasury Management Systems . Assist clients with risk management reviews relative to foreign exchange, interest rates and commodities . Assist clients with a cash forecasting review and development of methodology . Provide treasury assessment and identify the gaps relative to industry practices . Assist clients with bank account rationalization . Assist clients with centralizing key treasury processes . Assist clients with banking structures . Assist clients with liquidity, working capital and cash management optimization . Assist clients with performing a cash management review . Assist clients with the development of policies and procedures . Assist clients with consolidation of banking relationships and credit . Assist clients with development of key risk metrics . Assist clients in reviewing treasury controls and processes Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate .Supervise Associates and Interns on engagements .Serve as a liaison between clients and upper management .Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and upper management .Serve as a mentor to Associates and new hires .Assist with project planning, development of deliverables and other technical writing exercises Qualifications for both positions: . Minimum of 1 year treasury experience with emphasis on the following: Treasury Cash Management and Operations, Short Term Borrowing and Investments, Cash Forecasting, International Finance, Bank Relationship Management, Financial Risk Management (F/X, interest rate, commodity risk management), Corporate Finance, Pensions, Operational Risk and Internal Controls -Valuation and Risk Analysis -FAS 133, and Treasury Technology . Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited college/university . Strong writing and effective communication skills Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate . 3 years of relevant experience . Project Management experience . Supervisory experience .
