We offer our clients industry insights and a multidisciplinary range of services. We are currently seeking Associates to join our Tax Exempt Organizations (ExoTax) Practice in our NYC office. KPMGs Tax Services Practice is a resource for clients that need help complying with the latest IRS rules and regulations. Our professionals who handle tax issues bring the experience and commitment necessary to deliver federal, state, local and international tax compliance and advisory services to meet our clients specific needs.

Responsibilities: . Prepare and review Forms 990 and 990-PF and advise clients regarding exempt organizations tax return issues . Work in, and be a part of, a multi-disciplinary team . Keep up-to-date on current tax practices . Provide industry knowledge and experience . Attain visibility/recognition in the not-for-profit community Qualifications: . A minimum of two years of federal exempt organizations tax experience, gained in a major accounting firm and/or law firm . BA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university . Strong skills in reviewing Forms 990 and 990F information returns . Able to provide tax planning and advisory services to colleges and universities, public charities, private foundations, healthcare entities, and other types of tax-exempt entities . Knowledge of IRS codes and exempt organization tax matters . Excellent advisory and compliance skills . Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information . Able to be client-focused and results driven
