We are currently seeking a Manager to join us in our New York office to lead engagement teams delivering business modeling and validation services. The Business Due Diligence ("BDD") Modeling group is a specialty team within the Mergers and Acquisitions practice and provides strategic advisory services to clients in connection to major M&A opportunities. BDDs modeling group provides model build and validation related services to a diverse client portfolio primarily operating in a variety of industries and sectors. Clients are primarily private equity houses, strategic buyers and investment banks. The BDD group serves clients globally from offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, London, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Milan, Zurich, Melbourne, and Hong Kong. The practice is rapidly expanding its U.S. presence and has plans for aggressive growth over the next several years. Responsibilities: .Assisting to design and build complex transaction models for clients .Managing small project teams that test and validate client financial models .Analyzing business plans and pro-forma financial models to identify key business assumptions and value drivers .Liaising with senior client management and with lenders and project sponsors and ensure that all stakeholders key requirements are addressed .Because financial models usually support large projects, you will need to work closely with other parts of the firm as part of a multi-disciplinary team, particularly within Transaction Services, Audit Departments, Forensic Accounting and Tax Qualifications: .2 plus years of experience in strategy consulting, M&A tax consulting, private equity, investment banking or engineering/modeling .Experience leading teams to complete financial modeling projects under deadlines, with limited supervision .Knowledge of transaction tax structuring .Knowledge of corporate or project finance KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
