We are currently seeking a Business Due Diligence Senior Associate to join us in our New York office. Business Due Diligence (BDD) services provide strategic advisory services to clients on matters throughout the M&A deal life cycle. The BDD team helps clients evaluate acquisition candidates based on the achievability of managements future business forecasts and creates value from M&A transactions. The team helps clients make informed decisions on whether to proceed with the deal, how to value it, and how to develop thorough execution plans to maximize value. Clients are primarily private equity houses and strategic buyers. The BDD team serves clients globally from offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, London, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Milan, Zurich, Melbourne, and Hong Kong. Responsibilities: . Work as a part of project teams to help assess target companies (in buy-side and sell-side situations) on behalf of clients . Manage smaller teams in order to complete specified project objectives . Analyze business plans and pro-forma financial models to help identify key business assumptions and value drivers . Design and execute analyses on target companies and/or markets for the purpose of validating key assumptions and drivers . Design and facilitate in-depth interview programs with key company stakeholders . Perform market research through a variety of business sources . Contribute to the development and presentation of final client deliverables Qualifications: . Three years of total experience in advisory services, private equity, investment banking or market research organizations - MBA from an accredited college/university . Strong understanding of how to conduct effective analyses on topics associated with business, operations, and finance . Able to construct complex financial models . Experience executing major tasks under deadlines and with limited supervision . Exceptional written and verbal communication skills . Detail oriented work ethic and a strong academic record .
