We are currently seeking an Accounting Advisory Services Senior Associate to join us in our New York office. Accounting Advisory Services is a team of professionals within the Transaction Services practice who are fully dedicated to supporting clients accounting advisory needs. Our professionals are experienced in providing advice and assistance to audit and non-audit clients on transactions that require complex technical accounting analysis and support to implement. Topical areas include, but are not limited to, IPO assistance, domestic and cross-border acquisitions, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) conversions, bankruptcy-related fresh start accounting, carve-outs and divestitures, on-call technical accounting, implementation of new accounting requirements and financial restatements. Responsibilities: . Assist in providing timely technical advice regarding the specific application of accounting literature related to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) . Assist in providing due diligence support, including transaction analysis and related documentation for accounting implications . Serve as a technical resource for foreign company filings in the United States and for foreign acquisitions by a U.S. based company . Research and interpret complex structures and technical accounting literature utilizing internal and external resources . Deliver technical accounting support on engagements in a rapid paced environment with shifting priorities Qualifications: . One year of experience with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) . Licensed CPA or CA . Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, FASB pronouncements, and technical accounting literature . Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
