RESPONSIBILITIES The ABC SuperSign team is looking for a Sr. Applications Developer for our team who will be responsible for day to day technical interaction with the Sign as well as the development of Flash Applications for Sales’ Interactive Partnerships with Advertisers and our Synergy partners within the Company. These applications will play on the Sign inTimes Square, which is a flagship interactive marketing tool for ABC Television Networks.

The position requires a developer with a strong background in interactive development on multiple platforms and browsers. The primary development application environment will be Adobe Flash.

We require solid technical expertise combined with creative understanding.

Basic Requirements Number of Years of Work Experience: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Technical Skills: · Strong knowledge of Action Scripting versions 1,2 and 3 a must. · Strong knowledge of XML, CSS, HTML code writing, light javascript · Knowledge of Object Oriented methodologies and new flash technologies · Strong knowledge of data driven database animations updated via web server · Production level experience in web based Flash Video, Photoshop and After Effects, setting up Text voting and responding, RSS feeds and other interactive sponsorable activities. · Knowledge of the additional following software is a plus

* Dreamweaver or equivalent HTML creation tool * Audio and Video tools (Final Cut Pro) * Technical knowledge of 3D application a plus

· Microsoft Office · Day-to-day technical interaction will require loading play-lists, creating XML ticker files, ingestion of Media into the System.

Non-Technical Skills: · Solid artistic fundamentals · Knowledge of software development methodologies with a strong leaning towards interaction, gaming, local and web-centric projects
