We are currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to join us in our New York City (NYC) office. Responsibilities: - Provide direct administrative support for several Transaction Services practice Partners and team members in the NYC office - Work with Partners primary Administrators located in other KPMG offices to provide administrative support - Maintain daily appointment calendars for Partners when in NYC - Schedule appointments and meetings in NYC and other locations, as needed and coordinate appropriate meeting materials, conference rooms, catering, etc. - Coordinate Partners and team travel - Manage telephone calls and direct to appropriate individuals - Assist with external and internal inquiries - Monitor and manage e-mail - Maintain and organize files - Compose, proofread, and edit documents - Prepare time and expense reports - Prepare and/or assist with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents - Provide assistance with overall Practice administrative tasks Qualifications: - Five years of administrative assistant experience in a corporate environment - Demonstrated proficiency of administrative and related office skills at a high and complex level - Demonstrated proficiency in the firms software and technology packages including MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in making day-to-day decisions with minimal supervision - Able to take initiative, work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and be able to interact with a variety of personalities - Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills - Excellent organizational, communication, proofreading and editing skills - Excellent typing skills - Able to maintain confidential information - Flexible and able to work overtime
