Description: Senior Accountant for Cutting Edge On Line Media Firm

High Growth, Pre – IPO, NYC- based online video marketing firm seeks a Senior Accountant to 80K plus bonus and equity! This well capitalized, cutting edge firm brings together publishers and advertisers in a virtual marketplace for on line media, and is looking for an extremely well qualified professional with excellent experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to assist in all accounting and finance activities. The well qualified candidate will possess a CPA and three or more years of public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm. This position will report directly to the Controller. JOB-RELATED REQUIREMENTS: • Assist day-to-day operations of general accounting function • Guide accounting close process to meet monthly/yearly timeline and reporting requirements • Annual budget and quarterly forecast processes • Prepare monthly financial statements, monthly management reporting, and quarterly board package • Oversee preparation of tax schedules and serve as company liaison to corporate tax department • Complete Ad Hoc reporting requests • Prepare and Review reconciliations and journal entries EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: • BS in Accounting, CPA desired • 2-5 years relevant experience in public accounting • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Deadline-driven • “Get it done” attitude • Detail-oriented and self-motivated • Strong knowledge of US GAAP • Advanced Excel Skills • Adaptability and flexibility • Must demonstrate energy and drive • Quickbooks experience preferred
