Proven experience in inside and outside sales presentation, prospecting for new leads, building and maintaining a pipeline, and driving new sources of revenue through the successful development of organic growth and new client relationships. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Background includes experience in outside sales with respect to sales presentations and PowerPoint development and execution. Strong attention to customer service with bottom-line accountability for account management. Background must also include successful experience positioning the print sell in conjunction with online media and face-to-face sponsorship sales. Ambitious, “hungry,” innovative, entrepreneurial, commission-driven sales professional with a proven track record. Independent quality with an ability to be a team player. Capable of handling the highly organized, labor-intensive qualities of the position, including column-inch ad insertions, tracking revenue and payment, “hand holding” smaller advertisers, processing mailers, ad / creative trafficking, etc. Ability to manage a high-volume client database in concert with new business development initiatives including growing our agency and consumer business. Other areas of concentration to include telecom, fitness, financial services, transportation, insurance, film festivals, and other services that cater to low net-worth individuals. New business development will also look towards additional film festivals, casting ads, cruise ships, casinos, theme parks, etc. Note: cautious to avoid hiring someone who’s intent is to segue over to Billboard or THR in the short term.
