Robert Half specializes in the permanent placement of accounting, finance and bookkeeping professionals and is a division of Robert Half International (NYSE:RHI). Growing Construction/Real Estate development company in Hudson County is looking for a CFO/Controller. Ideal candidate will be a CPA with Timberline experience. Strong Audit/Compliance is required. This Section Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Project Management/Process Improvement Group, Control Group & Account Opening Group and will report to the Division Manager. S/he will work with their Supervisors to coordinate the daily workflow to ensure proper execution of all day to day functions. Responsibilities will include: Identify and correct any process inefficiencies, establish/review daily escalation and risk items, monthly management reporting, perform all staff related functions such as hiring, training, setting objectives, coaching and administering performance reviews. Area of Responsibility Key Activities/Elements 1. Process Transactions - Process transactions - Verify information - Escalate problem items. - Manage daily volume. 2. Problem Resolution - Resolve problems and execute transactions. 3.Communications - Communicate professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues in order to minimize risk and exposure. - Provide superior client service. - Communicate as part of a team. - Contribute to Management Reporting. 4.Process Improvement - Gain efficiencies to improve individual productivity. - Gain an understanding of the big picture – how specific function impacts the firm. - Contribute to Division or Firm process improvement activities.
