The SAP service line now numbersamore thana5,200 consultants in the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Member Firms, with services provided toamore thana1,200 implementation projects under their belt. a Essential Functions: - Engagement Management:a Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk - Client Management:a Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors - Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies - Practice Development & Eminence:a Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals - People Development:a Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices SAP MDM Sr. Manager candidates are required to have: a - 10+ years overall IT experience, with hands-on experience with the SAP Master Data Maintenance (MDM) - Experience as an Engagement Manager for multiple SAPa projects Experience in selling, architecting, developing and managing custom SAP solutions - Business development experience and high comfort level calling on and presenting to CxO and VP levels - Knowledge on SAP NetWeaver Products - Understanding of how MDM integrates with NetWeaver, Basis, WAS, and other SAP modules. - Experience with the following: MDM Objects and Clients MDM content Integrator MDM Analytics in BW - Must deeply understand master data schema development, access business rules, and master data design and migration processes - Experience with Account Hierarchy/Item Hierarchy/Categorization design/development - Monitoring and communicating overall Data enterprise master data project plans, priorities and progress against clients requirements. - Provides standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues such as data convergence, data standards and data synchronization. - Promote, educate and consult on enterprise master data strategies and best practices to clients and other affected teams. - Provide expert knowledge of enterprise master data in support of Business, Operations and Technology teams. - The ability to travel at least 80%% of the time - A Bachelors and/or a Masters degree a In addition, successful Senior Managers will also have the following preferred skills: - Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements. - Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint). - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. - Willingness to mentor junior staff.
