Position Overview: The Sales Manager will assist the Director of Sales in motivating and developing our Sales Executives into professional front-to-back salespeople in accordance with HGVC philosophy. You will close and assist with closing sales for Sales Executives while providing one-on-one coaching. In addition, you will model and reinforce effective sales/customer service practices leading to sales results. As a critical member of the management team, your efforts will generate maximum vacation ownership sales. Examples of Duties: · Develops/coaches individual Sales Executives, on an ongoing process, to ensure commitment and understanding of sales process to generate maximum sales and profit. · Assists in closing sales for Sales Executives. · As needed, takes tours with the Sales Executives to accurately assess where strengths and weaknesses exist. Provides one-on-one training to help them become more proficient in weakest areas. · Conducts one-on-one curb conferences after assisting Sales Executives to point out helpful suggestions. · Provides a commitment to allow Sales Executives to go further into the closing/supporting sequence themselves as their abilities develop, which allows for continued closing support to the Sales Executive who truly need assistance on the table. · Participates in sales meetings and training sessions. · Assists in other sales functions as needed and determined by the Director of Sales. · Carries out a reasonable request by management of which the employee is capable of performing.
Job Requirements : Qualifications · Proven track record of success in Sales in the timeshare/vacation ownership industry. · Previous “branded” timeshare experience. · Previous management experience is highly preferred. · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred. · Strong ability to close a sale. Strong closing skills with telemarketing tours.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. · Computer literate including Microsoft products, Outlook and strong ability to use technology based systems. · Leads by example with a strong sense of integrity. · Professional, attentive and enthusiastic demeanor. · Has strong passion and energy for the sales profession/industry and can inspire, influence and lead others. · Has the ability to embrace change. · Strong ability to help recruit, train, develop and motivate individuals in the field of direct sales. · Excellent problem solving skills, conflict resolution and customer satisfaction skills. · Strong ability to manage responsibilities while working in a fast paced environment. · Belief in and modeling of the Sales Executive selling concept.
