FUNCTIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE - Sales: Strategy development - Sales: Individual sales - Sales & Service: Complex negotiations REQUIRED SKILLS - Developing and Executing Strategy - Assess customer product portfolio to identify c... - Develop and maintain ongoing strategic alliances with key external business partners and professional - community-based organizations - Analyze competitive position on a case specific basis - Create target market strategies - Assists in the organization of finals meeting-site visits and the preparation of customer-focused sales presentations DESIRED SKILLS - Develop effective relationships with senior levels of brokerage houses, key producers - Assess adequate provision for risk and profit in pricing - Conduct competitive positioning analysis POSITION SUMMARY - Grow Pharmacy membership and meet/exceed membership goals in the northeast region - Create relationships with national accounts sales team within assigned region - Develop and execute strategic area sales plans - Lead development done through the combination of direct calls and collaboration with our medical segment sales team - Participate in the underwriting/pricing process for all prospects - Support the RFP development process to ensure RFP response meets and exceeds client requirements - Lead finalist presentations, take responsibility for preparing the presentation team - Use existing relationships with pharmacy consultants and brokers to drive new business quickly and be held accountable for new broker/consultant relationships and development - Held accountable for membership goals and meeting membership targets - Negotiate best price, work with underwriting, proposals, account management, network and clinical teams for new business development - Extensive travel required - This position does not require pharmacy account management or servicing of accounts, implementation or renewal activity.
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION Demonstrated success in Direct Pharmacy Sales Minimum 5 years experience in the PBM arena Experience in consultative selling Excellent written, verbal and presentation/communication skills Excellent PC Skills, Powerpoint EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Masters degree.
