The sales associate is responsible for maintaining day-to-day professional relationships between Standard & Poor's customers and prospects by providing a communication source for sales information and problem recognition and resolution. It is the sales associate's responsibility to ensure that all clients are aware of the products and services offered. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:%%0A %%0A The duties of the sales associate includes but not limited to the following:%%0A %%0A 1) Assist in the preparation of proposals and in securing signed contracts%%0A 2) Assist sales personnel in the qualification of leads and accounts%%0A 3) Attend conferences, conduct customer and product demonstrations%%0A 4) Respond promptly to customer inquires, requests and questions%%0A 5) Train customer personnel in the use of services%%0A 6) Conducts telemarketing campaigns at the direction of supervisor%%0A 7) Conducts direct campaigns at the direction of the supervisor%%0A 8) Continually utilize the CRM Salesforce.com, with updated information on client communication.%%0A 9) Prepare and issue client/prospect correspondence%%0A 10) Maintain account files and records. Organize and update current account database including contract terms and renewal dates.%%0A 11) Create renewal reports for group on a monthly basis flagging all those accounts four months prior to renewal or as requested in contract terms.%%0A 12) Work closely with other sales associate and sales team in the group.%%0A 13) Other projects as assigned by supervisor%%0A 1) Experience in Customer Service or Sales Support%%0A%%0A 2) Able to work comfortably with contact management software, Excel and learn other databases/software as required%%0A 3) Minimum two-years experience in some area of the financial securities industry. General knowledge of fundamental financial data and fixed income data a plus.%%0A 4) Strong oral/written communications and presentation skills required to interface with prospects, customers and business units%%0A %%0A
