Description:
Responsibilities for the Research Nurse Practitioner include:

- Providing disease-related education for patients and their families
- Coordinating clinical trials
- Performing thorough histories and physical examinations in both ambulatory clinical and inpatient settings
- Formulating appropriate treatment plans when necessary
- Liaising between the institute and the referring physician
- Teaching the patient fundamental aspects of care, including self-measurement of vital signs
- Playing a central role in enrolling and following patients who are participating in clinical research protocols
- Ensuring protocol compliance and monitoring patient safety

Required Skills:

- 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience
- Adult Nurse Practitioner / Family Nurse Practitioner licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
