Description: The US Chinese Services Group ("CSG") of Deloitte Services LP assists US-based companies investing and operating in China. Whether entering the China market for the first time or seeking to optimize existing operations, the CSG, in collaboration with the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu member firm in China, can help companies identify an expanding range of opportunities to manufacture, source, and/or sell in China and navigate the associated risks.aThe CSG also assists Chinese companies seeking to access US markets - expanding operations, raising capital from public or private sources and/or acquiring US assets.a The CSGs national network of bilingual professionals works closely with colleagues in China to deliver seamless service to globalizing Chinese companies.aa a The Research Associate in the CSG is responsible for research and analysis of major trade and investment trends shaping the Greater China region and for providing content for thought leadership pieces, newsletters, internal external briefing documents, web cast seminars, and client presentations on China-related issues.a a RESPONSIBILITIES:aa a - aResearch, analyze and communicate important market and regulatory trends in Greater China in support of client pursuit efforts, eminence building initiatives and the global firms expanding engagement with the region.a - Work with the marketing team in developing relationships both internally and externally, especially with respect to content collaboration.a - Work with the CSG leadership team to develop key messages for external and internal communications including story lines for presentations, press releases, thought leadership pieces on China related topics.aa - Help develop content for the marketing campaigns to enhance CSG visibility and increase both revenue and market share.a Leverage existing firm intellectual capital in ways that will build credibility and eminence for the CSG.a - Support CSG in developing relationships with key industry organizations with respect to content collaboration.a - Reporting directly to CSG Marketing & Business Development Leader, will interface frequently with Partners from CSG and other offices, regional BDCs marketing department, as well as Industry Leaders, Service Line Leaders, and Directors at both national and regional levels.a Participation in strategic planning and program execution is expected but is not responsible for final decisions/plans.a Will work very closely with other marketing staff during project design, development, and completion. - Minimum 3 years experience in communications, economics, journalism, marketing, policy analysis; - Bachelors degree required;a (Degree in Business, Economics, International Relations and/or Marketing preferred) - Superior communications skills, both written and oral; - Excellent research and project management skills; - Ability to think strategically; - A demonstrated track record of providing high-level communications support to senior level executives; - Ability to get along with a diverse group of professionals in a highly dynamic atmosphere; - Sound knowledge of marketing fundamentals preferred; - Professional service experience preferred; - Computer literate; PowerPoint experience a plus; - Flexibility and adaptability required; - Chinese language skills highly preferred.
