Description: Major Financial Services client is in need of a QA Analyst who has experience working with Remedy.



The most important requirement is the ability to test and configure the Remedy application.



The QA Analyst is responsible for making sure that the software system meets the pre-determined business and functional requirements before it is released into production.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Conduct QA testing scope analysis including the needs and time assessment.


* Create a QA Test Plan and write effective test cases based on business and functional requirements for the system.


* Conduct thorough application/system testing.


* Logging and presenting system defects.


* Conduct User Acceptance Testing.


* Provide comprehensive risk assessment prior to system rollout.


* Conduct an effective QA wrap-up meeting.


* Conduct regression testing.


* Manage QA efforts for multiple concurrent projects.


* Accept additional duties and responsibilities when necessary.



Skills:


Oral Communication:


* Successfully meet with clients and evaluate the testing needs for a given software system.


* Effectively present system issues and communicate rollout risk to the members of the project team.



Business and technical writing:


* Convert complex technical and business documentation into an understandable test plan and test cases.


* Write effective risk assessment and QA wrap-up documents.


* Ability to prioritize client needs and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


* Microsoft Office Suite expertise (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).


* Excellent time management and detailed organization required.



Education and/or Experience:


* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years QA testing.


* Experience working with MS Word, Excel and Project.


* Knowledge of SQL is required.


* Experience working with Remedy.
