As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for the following: * Develop & maintain relationships with internal/external clients and intermediaries involved in securities clearance and custody transactions and provide query/issue resolution. * Understand and articulate business strategy of each client as it pertains to Securities Clearance, and how that strategy fits with the JPM strategy. * Responsible for all day-to-day activities for assigned account load including monitoring of securities settlements, funds transfer and income processing. * Manage/administer client portfolios consisting of domestic/international securities and cash. * Active involvement in system upgrades, process automation and departmental projects. * Interface with internal functional groups (i.e. Sales, Operations, Technology, Legal, etc.). * Responsible for the creation of and compliance with administrative procedures for respective account load and to update such as necessary. * Review, comment and negotiate legal agreements pertaining to Securities Clearance and ensure ongoing contract compliance. * Review and understand existing legal agreements and ensure departmental compliance with contractual obligations. * BA/BS Degree or Higher * A Basic understanding or experience with Global Clearance is a necessity (includes previous direct Client contact) * The candidate would ideally have at least 3-5 years experience in securities settlement, and have a solid understanding of the international securities markets & Fed wire system * Experience reading and reviewing Security Agreements including Custody and Clearing agreements * Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task * The positions requires strong communication skills and to be a team player * Occasional travel required JPMorgan Chase is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer, M/F/D/V
