Clients can leverage the breadth and flexibility of our properties to reach their target audience with precision and efficiency. The Sales Director is directly responsible for managing the sales team and efforts for IAC Advertising Solutions in the Eastern region. The position involves being an expert in online media sales and being adept at increasing and sustaining revenue growth. The position will work closely with sales reps in identifying and selling to new clients, increasing revenues from existing customers, and providing daily support to achieve team and national revenue goals. Frequent client visits and travel required. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a regional team of sales reps responsible for all sales efforts in the sales territory * Set individual revenue expectations for each territory * Drive revenue growth in the region * Consistently meet or exceed regional sales goals, demonstrating focused team sales efforts, understanding of IACASs products and business model, and an understanding of the internet advertising environment * Work with sales reps to develop sales plans for each territory, including key accounts and decision-makers and strategies for achieving revenue growth. Track individual performance against sales plans * Help establish and maintain relationships with key advertising agencies and clients for the region * Hire, train and mentor sales professionals * Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of our products and services * Grow and maintain a positive presence in the regional advertising marketplace Requirements Skills/Qualifications: * Proven record of effective sales management and driving strategic growth * Demonstrated record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable, sales environment * Aggressive sales instincts, coupled with consultative, mature, professional demeanor * Superior presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills * A bachelors degree in business or a related field preferred * Passion for marketing and the Internet * Intuitive/creative thinker * Outstanding computer skills including solid knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word) andCRMsystems * Ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly and easily * Problem identifier and solver * Able to handle multiple priorities * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
