Reviews employment applications and interviews applicants to evaluate work history, skills, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications. Informs new hires of compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company policies and procedures, promotional opportunities, and other information by conducting orientation program. Reviews job requisitions and matches applicants with job requirements. Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Reasoning ability:. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
