Ensure and document the quality of all services on the Jamster platform in the assigned areas of responsibility. o Test new versions of the SMS, WEB, WAP, IVR and White Label services, identify and analyze issues. o Document and report errors to appropriate other departments for fixing o Update / extend test scripts o Profile new handsets o Escalate major business threatening issues o Meet release timelines Essential Duties and Responsibilities and %% of Time: . Effective timely testing and analysis of any issues found.-25%% . Reporting identified bugs to help secure error- free production and patch releases-25%% . Ensure better look and feel in applications (usability) to improve user experience (test from end user point of view)-20%% . Profile new handsets regarding supported content formats and capabilities-15%% . Test handsets for all issues escalated by 2nd level customer service.-15%% Minimum Qualifications: . Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience. Masters Degree preferred. . 2 to 4 years of functional experience needed . Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. . Handle multiple tasks simultaneously . Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. . Knowledge of at least one of the following: o basic Mobile Networks Technologies o basic Internet Technologies o basic Database Technologies o fast and independent learning
