Req Number:81110 Location(s): New York NY Responsibilities: Responsible for producing content for interactive toys with online component (including scripts, game design, sound recordings etc) Will work independently and support manager as needed to ensure objectives are met. Create design documents or flowcharts for high complexity play patterns. Supervise external content development vendors Negotiate and contract voice-over talent Schedule and direct recording sessions Work closely with counterparts in Marketing, Design and Engineering to ensure business objectives are met Act as a liaison with licensors on play patterns, scripts and approvals as required Maintain and archive all project assets Work with International team to localize items for global market Track content development schedule for assigned products to ensure timely completion of projects Responsible for creating demos for Toy Fair presentations, etc Requirements: Required: BA or BS degree with 5-7 years of previous experience in content design for toys, web, software, interactive games, or similar medium Knowledge of the development process for a technical or interactive product Computer proficiency (MS office applications) High level of creativity with strong creative problem solving skills Strong communications skills (verbal and written) Well-developed writing skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as with external vendors Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong organizations skills with excellent follow through and attention to detail Proactive, self-starter with ability to make independent decisions and display sound judgment Preferred: Experience producing content for the web Previous experience developing content for young children Experience with content production software such as Flash, Sound Forge, ProTools, Logic, etc. Experience booking and recording voice talent in a studio setting Mattel is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
