Description: Posting Job Title Program Director TimeWarner Division AOL Industry Online Content/Services Brand AOL Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 103091BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Join Publisher Operations within the Platform A team as the Program Director of Publisher Delivery, Programming including AOL Entertainment (Music, Moviefone, TV, etc.), AOL Lving (Style, Health, Body) and AOL News. Publisher Delivery is a team within the Platform A group that oversees the efforts to monetize a specific supply of inventory within the AOL Owned and Operated network. The overall goal of the Publisher Operations team is to maximize the value of inventory supplied by the AOL O&O properties, ensuring value is maintained, maximized and incrementally increased within AOLs products, programming and platforms. The Publisher Delivery lead will coordinate and manage the multiple efforts and questions that come up daily about how to best prepare programming / product to be monetized, and meet existing business commitments, within an inventory supply area. The PD lead serves as the centralized point of contact within Platform A Publisher Operations to answer the questions, manage the analysis, and communicate relevant data and information about the inventory supply that support the efforts by the business teams to monetize an inventory area and increase its yield. General job description: - Serve as primary point of contact for Programming teams for all Platform A operational needs, including, but not limited to; ad inventory placement support analysis, use and analysis of promotionally driven traffic in support of channels revenue goals, and deal, channel specific ROI, and process management. - Ability to articulately and professionally communicate findings to sr. management and cross functional groups. - Experienced with basic traffic modeling, to support specific advertising opportunities and partnerships. - Lead external and internal proactive communication and coordination of programming / product initiatives and revenue opportunities in a professional and consultative manner. - Identify process gaps and overlaps, and proactively working to eliminate those gaps or redundancies to improve efficiencies of overall processes. Skills required: - Business management skills to support the advertising revenue associated with AOLs strategic goals. - Strong understanding of both the AOL business strategy and an individual programming / products strategy - Ability to take understanding of strategies and convert to actionable operating plans - Proactive problem solving skills and strong analytical abilities - Strong, seasoned written and oral communications skills - Experience working in organizations where cross-functional interdependence is required. - General knowledge of advertising inventory operations and the online advertising sales life cycle - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Ability to navigate highly-matrixed organization and develop great working relationships with many key stakeholders - Proven ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work individually, and as a part of a team, harmoniously and effectively - Proven ability to manage a team, coaching and developing career paths for members of the team that integrates key drivers of performance: creativity, analytics, judgment and teamwork.
