Description:
Responsibilities of the Private Equity Tax Accountant include:
- Coordinating and providing tax work papers to third party tax preparers
- Ensuring that tax and partnership returns are completed timely and accurately
- Serving as the initial contact person for questions from third party tax preparers
- Providing information necessary to complete tax and partnership returns
- Interacting with the group’s senior management and clients
- Supervising work of junior staff to meet clients deadlines and quality requirements
- Providing prompt and professional communications
- Preparing appropriate material for client meetings and requests
Required Skills:
- 4-7 years of public accounting experience
- Knowledge of private equity, real estate tax, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and international and partnership tax
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
