PricewaterhouseCoopers is seeking a Financial Counselor/Workshop Presenter to join our PFS practice in our New York office. Service Tax Office New York NY Years Experience Required 5+ Education Required BS/BA degree required. Requires any of the following certifications: CPA, CFA, CFP, JD Job Requirement Essential * onduct financial planning and benefits education workshops/seminars for clients employees. * Perform all aspects of training life cycle, i.e., development of workshop and related training materials (i.e., outline, timed agenda, in class exercises, pre/post course work, learning objectives, tools integration, course content, speaker notes, supplemental flip chart examples, workshop evaluations) * Work closely with clients to design/develop financial education programs. Requires travel to client location. * Train presenters. Evaluate skills of others to ensure readiness to present client workshops. Suggest, implement, and monitor developmental steps for needed improvements. * Provide one-on-one employee financial counseling via phone, email, and in person * Technical specialist in individual financial planning and individual tax compliance * Deep knowledge of typical benefit plans (i.e., defined contribution plan, defined benefit plan, stock options, stock appreciation rights, deferred compensation plan) * Manage projects, engagements, and related economics * Assist with other department/firm projects, as needs warrant * Collaborate with project manager to plan and timely execute development and revisions of workshop materials * Keep current on individual tax law changes and financial planning knowledge * Ability to understand and communicate conceptual and technical ideas. PwC to provide materials. Minimum 5 years of individual tax/financial planning experience Minimum 1 year relevant experience in presenting interactive workshops. Preferred: experience in delivering group financial planning/benefits education presentations and conducting one-on-one counseling sessions. Project management experience Preferred instructional design experience.
