Description: Organizational Communications Manager Job Responsibilities The person in this position will help Marsh Build the BEST insurance broker, intermediary and risk advisory through effective colleague communication and engagement practices. This position works closely within a small internal communications team and liaises with communicators around the world. Seeking strong, experienced organizational communication generalist to support Marsh global and regional businesses. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Create and execute communication plans for initiatives which support Marsh’s “Building the BEST” strategy for internal stakeholders - i.e. IT, Global Risk Management, Expense Management, HR, etc. * Develop and execute strategies for explaining to Marsh colleagues changes in processes and the reasons/benefits of such changes * Counsel business leaders on best communication approaches to achieve desired business results * Write and edit news, business wins, organizational announcements and people stories for Inside Marsh, the company intranet * Oversee production of videos, including interviews with senior leaders, business win case studies and more, from concept to execution (message identification, scripting, etc.) * Liaise with Knowledge Management and IT to manage and continue to enhance InsideMarsh * Manage MarshTV, Marsh’s online video library * Write scripts, talking points, presentations and other tools to support leadership in successfully cascading information to colleagues at all levels * Manage meetings as required * Minimum 10 years experience in a large corporation or agency doing organizational communication in support of change management * Extensive experience leveraging various technologies for internal communication purposes, great familiarity and comfort with new and existing technologies * Extensive experience overseeing video production vendors and managing productions and budgets from concept to finished product * Strong Microsoft office suite skills; strong Power Point skills a plus * Strong organization and project management skills * Proven ability to develop and execute results-driven communications strategies that are aligned with business goals and objectives * Experience employing various methods to measure communication reach and impact * Excellent presentation and writing skills - ability to write in various styles and formats - from corporate to marketing to intranet * Excellent proofreading skills * Strong team player and collaborator * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; previous experience and ability to effectively coach and counsel business leaders in order to achieve best communication solutions to their business challenges * Extreme flexibility and adaptability to constantly changing business situations * Insurance industry experience a plus * Experience working in a multi-national corporation a plus
