Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Liaison with Customers/Project team and resolve all technical/functional issue.


The candidate is expected to work on developing RICE (reports, interfaces, customizations, extensions).


The candidate should have knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, work flow, strong understanding of Oracle ERP data model, XML reporting.


Partner with the Order to Cash (O2C) global business owners to create short term and long term roadmaps.


Drive and manage O2C initiatives including projects and programs based on business priorities. Complete projects under budget and on time.


Take complete ownership of the functional and technical deliverables including any customizations and enhancements in the O2C area coming out of global rollouts. Reduce cycle time and improve through put and delivery of the development team.


Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies across O2C in an effort to make the systems and processes more reliable, predictable and efficient.


Drive major patch releases and code changes to the production environment including managing and coordination of the Regression and User acceptance testing with the users.


Collaborate with the Business Users, BSA (Business Systems Analysts) and the development teams to manage and support day to day operations in the Order to Cash track.


Partner with offshore developers to drive technical architecture, design, development including documentation, code reviews and release of code changes to production.


Supporting and continuous improvement of the month end and quarter end close processes.


Coach junior team members and foster active learning environment.


Exhibit working knowledge of familiar O2C functional areas by calling on previous job experience and training, and practical insight into unfamiliar functional areas.



QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



Degree or Associate Degree in Computer Science or Business is preferred.


Over five years of Oracle experience with focus on Order Management, Accounts.


Receivable and Inventory module both as a technical and functional resource.


At least three full life cycle implementation/upgrade projects.


Experience with Oracle Application Release 11i.


Experience with Oracle Workflow.


Knowledge of query tools (Discoverer, Toad).


Experience with Project Planning and Management.


Prior exposure to Oracle's AIM methodology is required.


Strong Written and Oral communication skills are essential.
